Faith & Blue is an initiative focused on connecting the community and law enforcement via houses of worship. They learned about Grain & Mortar through our work with Coffee with a Cop and reached out for help crafting their brand and designing and developing a website.

The Faith & Blue brand required a strategy that accounted for the current initiative but also provided flexibility for the future, as the Faith & Blue team’s 5- and 10-year plans aim at expanding beyond faith organizations to other community organizations that can further reach community members. The logo relies on a bird carrying laurel to hearken to peace, hope, and many faiths and ties in law enforcement with use of the blues and again the laurel. While the text currently states “Faith & Blue,” in the future it can be modified to “Community & Blue” or more comprehensive verbiage as their initiative expands.
