Catalyze is an evaluation consulting firm that uses data to guide nonprofit and government organizations in effective decision-making for future growth and strategic planning. Their team reached out to us amidst a pivotal point in their consultancy, looking for assistance with finding a strong name and new brand. We dove in to help guide their internal naming discussions, steering them to a consensus and then turning the name into an icon and logo embodying their values.

With a solid name and logo under their belts, they turned to the next challenge: web and content. We worked collaboratively with their team to find a site strategy and messaging style that encompassed both their current clientele as well as their new growth markets. Our flowchart and wireframe planning looked broadly at how we could clearly and effectively accommodate their current information while also future-proofing for the new areas and types of projects they were expecting to showcase in the next 6-12 months.
The design phase coupled the new layout and messaging with line illustrations seeking to subtly complement the text. The unobtrusive color palette and design style let the headlines and body copy drive the user experience and strengthen Catalyze’s spirit of professionalism, knowledge, and commitment to social change.
