FBN
Farming Enhanced by Technology
FBN began as a network of farmers seeking to share precision farming data with one another to help individual farmers make better decisions on seeds and agronomics. The network has since grown to include grain marketing, financial, and insurance services as well. The effectiveness of their network increases with each farmer added as this creates a larger data source.
The FBN team reached out for help redefining their brand mark and creating a strategy for displaying the supplemental sub-brand services and products on their website, key needs that would help them reach more farmers.
Scope
- Strategy
- Brand Update
- Web Design
As the company grew, the individual departments operated independently in creating their branding and marketing materials. There was not one source of truth, and with their employees in several locations around the country, there was not a great deal of unification in the visual brand. Our team met with several employees from across the company, discussing the overarching company needs as well as the ones for the sub-brands and products. We then developed a strategy for representing FBN as a whole as well as applying branding strategically for the sub-brands. As the company had both short- and long-term goals of adding additional resources and products, a digital brand guide would serve them best for adding new sub-brands as they came online and easily keeping the widespread team abreast with the most up-to-date brand guidelines.
Taking these new guidelines, we brought a more cohesive feel to their website design seeking to balance the visual elements and text content for an audience that naturally has a wide range in age, technology experience, data input, and location.
