Barnato Lounge connects a Bentley car dealership with a bar, music venue, and speakeasy all wrapped in one. The owners came to us early in the build out to assist them in creating a new brand that felt luxurious enough to sit beside a Bentley. They were looking for a sophisticated brand that lent itself to the car theme established by their name (Woolf Barnato made Bentley cars popular with his racing) and worked with multiple applications throughout their facility and materials.
We crafted a set of six brand pieces utilizing wordmarks, icons, taglines, and seals, all inspired by the 1920s and 30s, with an illustrated figure holding a “B” in car emblem-style for the icon. Barnato’s speakeasy, Green Room, features an icon + wordmark logo in a masquerade ball mask style, nodding to the secrecy of the speakeasy.
