Google Lens is a relatively new technology and consumer behavior allowing a user to snap a photo of an augmented image, a location, or text that would then bring up either results cards or a webpage with Lenslet-specific markup to provide a more immersive experience. Google approached us to develop a series of templates to showcase some of the Lens technology possibilities with the goal in mind of being a creative trigger to help companies and developers envision ways to make Lens work for them.

We generated four Lenslets with faux companies and information demonstrating a pair/match scenario (“what goes with this”), inspiration scenario (“what can I do with this”), and two editorial/education scenarios (“what more can I learn”). For each company, we branded, wrote copy, and designed and developed the Lenslets, which will help companies grasp the concept of this new Lens technology and how they can use it to benefit their business.
