Barcamp is an international network of user-generated “un-conferences” primarily focused around technology and the web. The format is an open and participatory workshop where content is provided by the participants.

Design Worth a Second Look

We partnered with the organizers of Barcamp 2012 to develop an overall design concept, identity, custom illustrations, website design and development, animations, and promotional materials. The custom illustrations, attention to detail, and a rowdy bear made for a memorable conference theme.

Website Design & Development

A Delight Factory

We used a gig poster style that was heavy on illustration for Barcamp 2012’s print and promotional materials. This approach translated to the conference website and gave us opportunities for hidden surprises. Using the factory provided settings to bring the conference themes to life — each floor was a glimpse into the world of creativity, technology, and entrepreneurship.
