As Grain & Mortar is expanding studio space, our team members are shrinking.
If you spend much time around us, you will quickly notice we all share a commitment to health and fitness, and we try to encourage one another as much as possible. Since we see each other for a minimum of 40 hours per week it is important for all of us to share the same values and principles when it comes to eating healthy and staying active. As an added benefit, staying active has made a difference in our work performance, and we all take fewer sick days because of it.
Eric has really inspired us all to become more healthy. His regular gym visits (6-8 times per week) and dedication to simple and nutritious food has motivated us to get our lives together. Because of this we are making a more concerted effort to get moving.
We have all gotten in better shape over the last year and a half, and to keep up the momentum, we signed up for the Color Run together. It was Kristin, Michael, and Miranda’s first ever 5K! Signing up for a run gave us a foreseeable goal, and we dedicated a couple months to training. We had a great time preparing for it, and are proud to say we all finished well. As you can see in our photos, we also got very colorful.
