Learn how we started as two small companies working side-by-side to later joining forces to become Grain & Mortar. How exciting!

Once upon a time there were two design companies. One was known as Image Made, the other DownsDesign. They met one summery afternoon and became fast friends.

For the next year they designed, branded, and problem solved. All the while, they helped each other with the good days and the bad days. One day, they realized they could be more successful together, and Grain & Mortar was born.

Since the merge, they've spent their days making clients happy, growing as friends and co-workers, and cooking up new schemes. On October 12th, they will be throwing a party to celebrate their one year anniversary. All are invited to come!
